At sunday February 23th I participated in a trip to NDSM in Amsterdam at the north bank of the IJ river. NDSM is the historical remainder of the largest shipyard in Amsterdam, now developing itself into a creative city. It’s a very photogenetic place where a lot is going on. If you’re interested, you can find more info at the NDSM website. The trip was organized by fellow members of Fotogroep Haarlem.
After a nice trip on the pond from Central Station and a good cup of coffee we scattered around to take pictures. And there is a lot to discover: the abandoned shipyard, warehouses, workplaces of local artists, containers, art and lots of junk.
All in all it was a fun day with lovely weather, good company and lot’s of photo’s. All photo’s of this day can be found in the places album.
